Why Better days are ahead for the Gunners

Some little banter to kick us off ...... winning at St.Mary's isn't for everyone pep. Now onto matters Arsenal.It has been a pretty good fortnight for arsenal.After a woeful start the team has now won 4 games in a row conceding 1 goal. That's definitely an improvement considering our personnel.Arsenal have a tough 2 weeks ahead ...well at least on paper. Leicester, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City all to come .   I look at why there is reason to be optimistic as an arsenal fan .                       1.THE COACH  The man himself Mikel Arteta. Many arsenal fans were not very convinced at the idea of hiring an inexperienced manager.Given the likes of Ancellotti ,Allegri ,Jose Mourinho and Pochettino were all available many were disappointed by the appointment of arteta. The curse of the 9 Jersey

    9 is the number Every club has a shirt number which fans and players alike identify with and arsenal is no exception. No shirt number is bigger than the 14 made famous by Club Legend Thierry Henry ,now won by Peirre-Emerick-Aubameyang who I might add is doing it justice. This isn't always the case....especially when it comes to the number 9.It is a shirt number that was made famous by Charlie Nicolas,George Graham ,Paul Merson and more recent memory Nicolas Anelka. Since then Arsenal fans don't have such fond memories of players wearing the 9 . Despite the famous strikers that have worn  arsenal colours not many have lit up our hearts wearing the 9. I count down my top 5 players to not do justice to the 9 during the previous decade. 5.CHU YOUNG PARK (11/12) This was one of those strange Arsene Wenger signings joining the club in 2011 from Monaco.What is so hilarious about his signing is that Chu was actually completing a  medical at Lille when he heard of Arsenal...
